Guidelines for submitting material for the Basic Package

Preparing your material:

• Your Web page will consist of one image plus up to 300 words of text.  
• The image should be a photo of your artwork although you might use a photo of yourself instead. We prefer a digital photo formatted as a 300 dpi JPEG file. This file should be under 100kb in size. However, if you can't provide a digital image, you can send a good quality print and we will scan it for you.  (Again, we can't handle original art, slides or MacIntosh disks at this time.)
• Tell us how the image should be oriented -- where the top is -- and the medium, size, title and price.
• We recommend that your text consist of a bio, an artist's statement and contact information. We prefer that the text be submitted as a plain text computer file (ASCII) with no formatting (e.g. no italics, hanging indents, etc.) However, if you can't provide the text as a computer file, typewritten or legible hand-printed copy is okay.  

Submitting your material:

• If your material is in electronic format (i.e. digital image, computer file), we prefer that you e-mail the material. Our e-mail address for submissions is mcj.painter@gmail.com. 
• If you are mailing your material, you must include an extra envelope plus postage if you want your material returned. Mail your material to:

• Mail your check of $60 made out to "Michael C. Johnson" to the above address.  Work will not start on your site until payment is received.  (We are working on setting up a method of electronic payment.)
