I broke up the diagonal cracks a bit with perpendicular cracks, much as nature might, and also added some reflected "skylight" to round the forms of the foreground rocks. I broke the farthest edge of these rocks -- the area with the thread of sun light on it -- by cutting in with a bit of the ocean color. I also punched up my highlights and darks a tad. I hope you'll agree that this piece achieves the drama of the moment that I remember so well from that long-ago evening.
