Are you a school, art center, painting group or art society that would like to have a professional artist bring a landscape painting workshop to you? If so, Michael will gladly travel to your location and present a workshop tailored just for you!

Michael's workshops can be:

• one to five days or longer
• for any student level, from beginner to advanced or professional
• in oil or soft pastel or both
• studio or plein air or both

Here are some general details:

• Charge is $300/student for a 5-day plein air landscape workshop, plus travel and lodging. This is based on a minimum of 6 students and a maximum of 12. If you would like a workshop of a different length, the rate is $60/day/student plus travel and lodging, if any. (The minimum number of students may change for workshops of shorter duration.)
• A deposit of $100 per student is required. Deposits are generally non-refundable; if a student needs to back out, the deposit can be applied to a later workshop with Michael.
• Sponsors are encouraged to add a fee to the $300/student for refreshments and other expenses.
• Sponsor does not need to provide meals.
• A well-lit studio space must provided to accomodate students and their easels. Even an outdoor painting workshop may run into a rainy day. Space will also be used for daily critiques and lectures.
• Workshops typically run Monday-Friday, 9-4, with a short break for a bag lunch.
